I can't even make this stuff up

So today I ran up to a store on my lunch break. This store will remain nameless. It does offer the MAXXimum experience - and did you know that the best man in our wedding was TJ?

I went to the fitting room and the attendant was a little different to start out with. I took my two items in and began to get ready to try them on.

(PG Alert) At the point of this story I am standing there in my skirt and my bra. All of a sudden the curtain flies open and the fitting room lady and a man are standing there. She tells him, "See there is gum on this curtain too."

I am fully exposed to the two of them. I look at her and loudly proclaim "Ma'am- please SHUT THE CURTAIN I am trying on clothes."

She looks at me and says- "Cool your jets- it's not like you got anything he has not seen before anyway." She shuts the curtain and goes on.

I immediately think- Did this just happen? Am I in an alternate universe?

Am I being Punk'd? Are there cameras rolling?

What are the odds? I am such a freak magnet.

Happy to BRIGHTEN UP YOUR DAY!!

Happy Thursday!

Thank you! I am laughing so hard right now! And relating...Here, the fitting rooms are all in the same place. No separation of men and women (as, BTW, are most bathrooms). The first time I bravely tried on a skirt, I was changing, and felt a breeze on my legs. I turned to the door, and a young child had opened the curtain and was staring at me...as were all the others in the area! But, Cylinda, Welcome to Arkansas! WOOO PIG SOOOIIIEEE!

ROTFL Ah, what a great way to start my day. :D

Girl, that's what you get for moving to Arkansas (sorry, Renee!!! :D). That is hilarious!!!! I so wish I would have been with you. We would have laughed our heads off like we did on the "celery" incident. Of course, if I had been with you, I could have been guarding the curtain and she'd have NEVER got past me!!! Cool your jets, indeed!!!!! :)

She wouldn't have had to worry about gum on that curtain because I would have been wrapped up in it trying to hide and lashing out with one hand. Oh Cylinda, I so glad to hear that I am not the only "freak magnet"!
