Are your hands tied?

Learn to lean on the Rest of God-

Some of you are so weary from carrying these burdens- these loads- You wonder why you can’t make it through the day. If you could put on God's glasses you would see the worries and cares you are carrying in the backpack of life. If you could see them- you would understand why you are so tired.

The burden of your marriage, your kids, your finances, your relationships, your health, your church, your position, your image, your problems, your past hurts.

Let's take a look at an example from the Word:

O Our God, you will not exercise judgment upon Them? For we have not might to stand up against this great company that is coming against us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon you.
II Chronicles 20:12

1. They had not might to stand against enemies
2. They did not know what to do
3. They needed to have their eyes focused on God

Verse 15 and 17 of the same passage – this is what the Lord said to them:

…Be not afraid or dismayed at this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s. You shall not need to fight in this battle; take your positions, stand still and see the deliverance of the Lord.

What is your position to be in this battle? Flinging Mud? Holding riots? Marching? Holding press conferences?

No- Stand still- and see the Salvation of your Lord.

BE IN THE REST OF THE LORD

Peace I leave with you: My own peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give you - John 14:27

He gives the peace that passes all understanding.
He gives the peace in the midst of the storm.
He gives the peace that allows your heart and mind to be free when your hands are tied.

In prayer today I felt the burden so strongly for so many of you that have had to put on cute helmets, and shin guards, and knee guards just to make it through the day.

The Lord clearly showed me today this- we are not asked to gear up- we are asked to let go. Take the burdens and cast them at HIS feet.

Psalm 37:3
Don't Worry. Trust(lean on, rely on, and be confident) in the Lord and do good: so shall you dwell in the land and feed surely on His faithfulness, and truly you shall be fed.

Wow. That's powerful. I think it was just last night that I almost gave the advice to be prepared to fight, to put on the gear, in other words...boy am I glad I just sat still...now I can give this word...

Love you.
