From the Inside Out

We had such a great message on Wednesday Night. It was talking about what kind of heritage are you leaving for your children. Are you going to be happy with the church of tomorrow based on the experiences that you are teaching it today?

I thought of my two girls and how I love to watch them worship and pray. On the way home Emma was so moved by that message. In case you have never met her- she is 9. She said - Mom- I pledge to you that I will teach my children everything that I know about Jesus. She said- that message spoke to me so much tonight. Seanna quickly agreed that she felt the same way. I know that she feels things just as strong in her heart- she is just not as verbal. As I watched this video today- while preparing to sing for the AR ladies conference- I thought this is the essence of it-

In my heart and my soul,
Lord I give you control
Consume me from the inside out Lord
Let justice and praise
Become my embrace
To love you from the inside out
To Love you from the inside out.

Are you living and leaving a Godly heritage in front of your kids? Will the church of tomorrow be stronger because of the relationship that you are patterning in front of them today? What a challenge! It is about daily relationship- not a Sunday to Sunday experience. Is God alive or allowed in your home?

Just this week I've been thinking about the heritage that was passed down to me - so thankful for it.

Your girls are so precious. I think that's because their Momma is super precious!
